Patricia Fisch Laughlin, age 80, died peacefully at her home in Fairfax on December 27, 2009. She was born July 26, 1929 in Austin, Minnesota. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Gregory Laughlin, Jr. She is survived by her children, John Laughlin III, Kevin Laughlin (Joyce), Molly McCarron (Jamie), Alex Laughlin (Karen), Mark Laughlin (Dawn), Tricia Bloom (Jon); her grandchildren, Ashley Campbell (Chad), Colin McCarron, Sydney Laughlin, Ruby Bloom, Jesse Bloom; and her great-grandson, Jackson Campbell. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 31, 2009 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at the Everly Funeral Home, 10565 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22030. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2009 11 AM at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Old Lee Highway, Fairfax, VA. Interment will follow in Fairfax City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058 or to a charity of your choice.
