"We received the following note from Minnesota lake, Minn., : Frau Theodor Fisch died on 29 October after an illness of several weeks' duration. The deceased's maiden name was Eva Manders, and she was born on 11 April 1839 in SAndweiler, Luxembourg. She was thus in her 69th year at the time of her death. She came to America with her parents at the age of 10, and they settled in St Donatus, Iowa. She was married to Herr Theodor Fisch 48 years ago, and the couple then moved to Freeburg, Minn. family moved to Minnesota Lake 16 years ago, where theyhave since lived, respected and esteemed by all. The deceased is mourned by her husband, three sons, and three daughters, named: M.L. of Windom; M.S. of Austin; R.J. of Minneapolis; Frau Johann Roster of Northfield; Frau Georg Kremer and Drau Peter Osdoba from here. She is also survived by three brothers, one of whom is Michael manders and lives in Minnesota Lake; and two sisters. The solemn mass took place on Wednesday at St. John's Church, with burial at the cemetery of the above mentioned community. May she rest in peace!
