Kronebusch, 83, of Goodview and formerly of Rollingstone, Minn., died Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona. Paul J. Kronebusch was born Feb. 22, 1921, in Altura, Minn., the son of dairy farmers, John B. and Anna Virginia (Frisch) Kronebusch. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1939 and continued dairy farming on the family farm in Altura until 1954. He married Patricia (Keller) Kronebusch on May 30, 1949. In 1954, the couple moved to Patricia's home farm near Rollingstone, where they lived for the next 37 years. The couple had 12 children; four of whom died in infancy. During that time, he was a successful farmer concentrating on hog, beef and chicken production. In 1991, the couple moved to Goodview and became members of St. Mary's Parish in Winona. During his lifetime, Paul was an active volunteer in the community and the Catholic church. He was a member of the Lion's Club; Knights of Columbus, Council No. 639, Winona; the St. Nicholas Society; the Rollingstone Co-operative; Elks Lodge No. 327, Winona; the Winona County Old Settlers; and the Republican party. He sang in several church choirs and was a major fund raiser for the 100th year renovation of the Rollingstone Holy Trinity Church. He also served on the board of directors of the First State Bank of Rollingstone. Paul J. Kronebusch is survived by his children; Paula Trevor of Clinton, New Jersey, Anne Kronebusch of Minneapolis, Minn., Carol Hubbard of Rochester, Minn., Mary Mlynczak of Winona, Minn., Barbara Carlson of Houston, Texas., James Kronebusch of Rollingstone, Minn., Stephanie Wolle of Northfield, Minn., Kathleen Kronebusch of Maple Grove, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; his brothers, Norbert Kronebusch of St. Anne Extended Healthcare, Winona; Stephen Kronebusch of Altura, Minn.; and his sisters, Ursula Kronebusch of St. Paul, Veronica Koelbl of La Crosse, Wis.; and Virginia Scherbring of Rollingstone. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patricia; his four infant children; his son-in-law, James Carlson; his parents; his brother, Richard Kronebusch and sisters, Edeltrude Schultz and Mildred Lethert. A visitation will be held Thursday, Sept. 30, 2004, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Fawcett-Junker Funeral Home, 1476 W. Broadway, Winona, where there will be a rosary service at 7 p.m. Friends may also call on Friday from 11 a.m. to noon in the Visitation Commons of St. Mary's Church. A Mass to celebrate Paul's life will be at noon on Friday, Oct. 1, 2004, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Winona. Con-celebrating clergy, Rev. William Becker, Rev. Msgr. Roy Literski, Rev. Martin Shallbetter and Deacon Clarence Shallbetter. A lunch will be served immediately following Mass with interment at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Rollingstone, following the lunch.
