Meinred Wieaer, 79, Dies in Trout Vally. Minneiska, Minn. - (Special) - Funeral services for Meinrad Wieser, 79, who died Monday (8 November, 1943) at 11:30 a.m. at his home in Trout Vally (Minnesota) after an illness of about two weeks, will be held at St. Mary's church here Wednesday (10 November), at 9:30 a.m. the Rev. Syxtus Eurg officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. Mr. Wieser was born April 7, 1864, in Selheim, Germany and when 15 years old came to America with his mother and her brothers. They settled in the vicinity of Winona (Minnesota) and lived there for several years. He married Elisabeth Siebenaler and they purchased the Williams farm in Trout Vally. His wife died in 1922. A few years later he moved to the Walter Adams farm and married Mrs. Maggie (Johnson) Schultz, who survived him. Mr. Wieser had been affiliated with the Weaver Cooperative creamery at Weaver (Minnesota) since its beginning, He was president of the creamery for 25 years. He also served as treasurer of the school district for more than 20 years. Survivors, besides his wife, are four sons, Michael, Elba (Minnesota); Ben, Winona (Minnesota); John, Minneiska (Minnesota); and Ronald, at home, and three daughters, Mrs. Nicholas (Lena) Tibesar, Conception (Minnesota); Mrs. Rose Lehnertz, Plainview (Minnesota); and Mrs. Leo (Lucy) Miller, Elba (Minnesota). One daughter in dead. The body was brought to the home of John Wieser, Minneiska (Minnesota), this afternoon. Father Burg will lead the rosary today (Tuesday, 9 November, 1943) at 8 p.m. (The Winona Republican-Herald, Tuesday, 9 November, 1943)
