Shared note | Joseph and Hedwig Stenzel lived until 1945 Trembatschau . They fled in early 1945 before the approaching Russian army in West Germany , Lower Saxony expected . ( Paderborn? )
Probably was Joseph Stenzel Bauer, the size of the property speaks at least for that. (See picture Cancels Travel )
They lived in Trembatschau at number 135, which is directly adjacent to the church and the cemetery. The land and adjoining stables are still there, the house was replaced by a new one.
A surprise was information about his wife, Hedwig Stenzel, born Gawlik . She was born on 12 10th Trembatschau also born in 1911, was related to Agnes scoop , our hostess .
Hedwig Stenzel was the sister of Anna Gawlik , which in turn was the wife of Agnes Schopf uncle ( Joseph Pietrus ) . The family of Agnes in Germany still has contact with the Stenzel , since they are related. The address is available. Here, then, can be investigated if necessary the fate of Joseph and Hedwig Stenzel . Whether Joseph and Hedwig Stenzel had children is not known , because so far I could not see the Taufeinträge from Trembatschau after in 1874. |
