Hermina Stenzel LEDYARD — Hermina Stenzel, 81, of Ledyard, died Monday (Dec. 22, 1997) at St. Luke’s Care Center, Blue Earth, Minn. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Swea City, with the Rev. Robert Kobler officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery in Swea City. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Swea City. Hermina Stenzel was born Nov. 18, 1916, at Lincoln, Neb. Survivors include two sons, Ron Stenzel, of Elmore, Minn., and Larry Stenzel, of Eden Prairie, Minn.; three daughters, Shirley Myers, of Buffalo Center, Betty Elliott, Littleton, Colo., and Barbara Vollmer, Englewood, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Francis Loos, Minneapolis, Minn.; James Loos, Ottumwa; and Gary Loos, Tampa, Fla.; and five sisters, Esther Schrader, Burt; Annie Engal, Palo Alto, Calif.; Rose Dalen, Edina, Minn.; Norma Hellman, Bancroft; and Nadine Rosenbaum, Applegate, Calif. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one sister.
