Cecilia Elizabeth Devens
— Cecilia Elizabeth Devens, age 88, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Private services will be held.
Cecilia was born November 22, 1925 in Wells, MN the daughter of Casimir andm Mary (Stenzel) Nowak. She graduated from Wells High School. On June 21,1947 she married Donald Devens in Wells. Cecilia worked many years as anursing aid at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato. When she wasn't working she enjoyed camping and taking care of her family.
She is survived by sons, Ronald "Digger" (Debra Juberian) of Mankato, Jim Devens of Lake Jefferson, Robert (Mary Lynn) Devens of Mankato; daughters, Mary Jane (Tim) Fitcher of Lake Crystal, Julie Devens of Mankato; grandchildren, Shelley, Jeni, Joe, Samantha, Andy and Dan Devens, Jake and Luke Fitcher; great grandchildren, Colin, Aiden, Destinee, Hannah, Brayden, Matthew, and Jason. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
