| Shared note | Paul Bernard was fighter pilot in World War II and was (repeatedly) shot . For years after the war, he maintained contact with the English officer who shot him. (Paul had this officer also shot ) . Later he was director and staff of the army in military / Air Force in Berlin.
Anektote : Already in old age came Paul Berhnard after a heart attack in a hospital. There he was to remain stationary for several days.
