Jane H. Kukulka CONWAY Jane H. Kukulka, 47, wife of Dan Kukulka, of Martin Lane in Conway, died Friday, June 20, 2003, at Conway Medical Center of complications of ovarian cancer. She was born in Pennsylvania, a daughter of Earl and Arlene Schoenly Heffner of Barto, Pa. She was a member of The Catholic Church of St. James and taught more than 20 years at Waccamaw Elementary School. She was a member of the Myrtle Beach Kiwanis Club and faculty adviser to the K-Kids Club at Waccamaw Elementary School. She founded the first K-Kids Club in South Carolina and also was a religious education teacher at St. James and St. Michael's Catholic churches. Survivors, in addition to her husband and her parents, include a son, Steven Kukulka of Conway; five brothers, Lee Heffner of Frederick, Pa., Gary Heffner and James Heffner, both of Bechtelsville, Pa., and Glen Heffner and Linwood Heffner, both of Barto, Pa.; and a sister, Joan Gouldner of Alburtis, Pa. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday with a prayer service beginning at 7:30 p.m. at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway chapel, on Beaty Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1 p.m. Monday at The Catholic Church of St. James. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. The Sun News Saturday, June 21, 2003
