Obituary from Bruss Heitner Funeral Home, Wells, Minnesota Donald Pritchard, age 79, of Minnesota Lake, MN, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Parkview Care Center in Wells, MN. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 30, 2006, at 10:30 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake. Father Eugene Stenzel will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-7 pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake with Rosary at 5:00 P.M. and visitation continuing one-hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery with Military honors by MN Lake American Legion Post and the Wells Color Guard. Bruss ? Donald was born on February 10, 1927 in Green Valley Twp, Becker Co, Minnesota, the son of Raymond and Adeline (Schackman) Pritchard. He served in the U.S. Army, a veteran of World War II. He married Theresa Stenzel on May 8, 1957 in Minnesota Lake. He worked as a police officer in Minnesota Lake and for Faribault Co. for many years. He also did some carpenter work. Don was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake, the American Legion Post #287 in Minnesota Lake, V.F.W. Post #1778 of Wells and 40et8 Voiture #281 of Mankato. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Don is survived by his wife of 49 years Theresa Pritchard of Minnesota Lake; Brothers: George and wife Jo of Anoka, MN, Gayles and wife Phyllis of Fargo, ND, Lester of Detroit Lakes, Percy of Duluth, Calvin of Washington, Curt and wife Arlean of Owatonna; Sisters: Beatrice Esser of Minnesota Lake, Margaret Carver of Little Falls, Virginia and husband Jack Kessler of Emmett, ID, Vida Potter of Pengilly, MN and Avice Zummah of Litchfield, MN, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Rachael Potter
