The Death of John H. Ryder
Joohn H. son of Rhilip S. Ryder the well known photographer of this city died at his home in East Jefferson Street shortly before 11 o'clock last eveing. He was taken sick on Christmas day with Ryphoid fever, and the disease soon tool on so serious a form as to defy the skill of attending physicians. His death has been reported several times during the last few weeks.
Mr. Ryder received his education in the High School of this city, and was a young man of more than ordinary promise and possibilites. He frequently contributed to the colulmns of public journals and periodicals, and was at the time of his death correspondent of the Chicago World a dramatic newspaper Four years ago he married Mis Minnie Pierce of this city, who survives him. A host of friend mourn his early death extend heart felt sympathy to his bareaved wife and allficted parents.(Her-January 21, 1882. |
