Donald C. Rinn April 25, 1950 - April 16, 2015 HOFF CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, GOODVIEW, MINNESOTA 507-452-4241 WINONA, MINN. - Donald, C. Rinn, 64, of Winona, Minn. died on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at his home. Donald was born on April 25, 1950, in Winona, Minn. to Clifford and Elaine (Roberts) Rinn. He was raised in Winona on Prairie Island. Donald graduated from Winona Senior High School. He worked at RTP in Winona for 23 years. Donald was known as a Mr. fix-it, who enjoyed helping others. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and spending time with his grandchildren. Donald is survived by his special friend, Claire Halvorson of Winona; step-father, Alfred Pierzina of Winona; five children: Donielle (Klete) Rinn of Winona, Cindy (Tom) Gabrick of Dodge, Wis., Anne Marie (Tony) Velte of Woodbury, Minn., Patrick (Melissa) McDevitt of Hudson, Wis., and Fran (Toni) McDevitt of Winona; thirteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister: Debi (Rodney) Ties of Winona, and their children, April and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his parents, and an infant sister, Margaret. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Kyla Lee and to Gundersen Hospice.
