Gerald R. Donovan, 76, of Pittsburgh, PA died June 19 from cancer. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Teresa of Avila Church.
Gerald was born to Loretta and Miles Donovan and was raised in the New Albin area. He was active with youth and sports, especially baseball. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Gerald is survived by six children, Mary, David, Denise, Jeannine, Mickey and Rose; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; and his loving friend, Bridget Reeg. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Pat and Margaret Burke; and a daughter, Sandra.
