Timothy J. Stiever, age 49, of Winona, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at his home.
He was born on August 31, 1965, in Winona, to Edward and Elizabeth (Frye) Stiever. He was a graduate of Winona Senior High School, and was employed as a truck driver with ORC Industries.
Tim will be remembered for his enjoyment of dancing with all of his friends, and going to barbecues and horse pulls – he always had his cowboy boots on! Tim was very generous, and he always made sure to pick up a meal for his family and friends or to help anyone who was in need. Many will miss seeing Tim as he enjoyed his walks all over Winona.
Tim is lovingly survived by his parents: Edward and Elizabeth Stiever, Winona; brothers: Wayne Stiever, Witoka, MN; Jim Stiever, Twin Bluffs, MN; Kurt Stiever, Rochester, MN; and Kenny Stiever, Houston, MN; sisters: Alice Nelson, Stockton, MN; Sally Stiever, Fountain City, WI; and Barb (Tom) Meier, Winona; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: John and Elizabeth Stiever; and Gertrude and Arthur Frye; son, T.J. Stiever; infant brothers: Charles and Mark; and a great-niece Katie Hornberg.
Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Friday, September 26, 2014, from 1 PM until the time of funeral services at 4 PM. Deacon Justin Green will officiate.
Tim will be laid to rest in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Wilson.
Pallbearers will be Brad Stiever, Justin Doerr, Jason Stiever, Tommy Grant, C.J. Stiever, and Billy Wessel. Honorary Pallbearers will be James and Jordan Meier.
Tim will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him well.
