Bohn, age 79, of Prairie du Sac passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 after a recent diagnosis of cancer. June was born June 19, 1933 in Winona, Minnesota to Lillian L. (Bath) and Earl J. Roetzler. She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1951 and the St. Francis School of Nursing , LaCrosse in 1954. June married Robert F. Bohn in Winona on February 5, 1955. After her husband passed away, June continued to live in Winona until moving to Prairie du Sac in 1983. She worked at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital and retired in 2001. She was an active member at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Sauk City for many years and enjoyed volunteering in her community. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, golf, and playing cards and dominos with her friends at Pine Vista. She was an avid reader. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother Neal. She is survived by her children; Linda (David) Colby, Black Earth, WI., Laurie (David) Boyden, Mt. Horeb, WI., Milt (Eileen) Bohn, Plymouth, Mn., 8 grandchildren; Robin (Bobby) Stone, Kim (Jeremy) Back, Dana Colby, Thomas Boyden, Michael Boyden, Julie Boyden, Chris Bohn, and David (Bridget Frauenshuh) Bohn, 3 great-grandsons; Ben and Jack Stone, and Grady Back, a brother; Roy (Bea) Roetzler, Lincoln, RI., a sister; Karon (Dan) Moore, Charlotte, NC., sister in-law, Marge Bohn, Winona, Mn., nieces, nephews other relatives and many special friends at Pine Vista. A private burial service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona, Mn on Tuesday, May 28, 2013. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 115 Madison St., Sauk City, WI on Friday, June 7, 2013. A luncheon will follow. Junie, we'll miss your honest observations of life...and your chocolate chip cookies.
