Frances Geraldine Lang.

After several weeks of Illness Frances Geraldine Patterson, wife of Mayor John B. Lang, died at her late residence No. 61 Farm Street at 8 a.m. today. She had been ailing for years with heart trouble and three weeks ago today she was up in the business part of the city, Bronchial pneumonia was the cause of her last sickness.
Frances G. Patterson was a native of Cortland, New York,.and married to John B. Lang 41 years in Glastonbury, Connecticut. She came to Ithaca with her husband 31 years ago and has been a resident of this city since that time, she is survived by her husband , Mayor Lang, one child, Bessie G. Lang, and three sisters, Mrs. Phil Ryder and Mrs L. Judson of Syracuse, and Mrs Orr Hune. The latter was at the bedside during her last illness.
Mrs. Lang was well known among the people of this city and as a devoted wife and mother. the sympathy of the friend and relatives of the family is eztented to them in this sad hour. A domestic circle, that has been----near and dear is broken and----tion is hard to overlook for that beyond the grave. It is also a tender and beautiful thought to present to the friends and relatives that the whole city joins in the sympathy that is poured outo them in the hour made so heavy by the loss of wife and mother and the years of social and official honor that had just opened to husband as mayor of our University Ciltly.
The funeral will take place at her late residence 61 Farm Street a 2p,m. Wednesday. Interment in East Lawn.
