Couple Will Reside Near Zumbro Falls Following Bridal Trip.
Plainview, Minnesota, USA — ‎(Special to The Republican-Herald)‎ — The marriage of Miss Angeline Anna Siebenaler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Siebenaler of Plainview, Minnesota, USA. and William Oscar Wiley, son of Mrs. Kate Wiley of Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, USA, took place at 9:30 a. m. Tuesday, 23 June 1936, at St. JoachimÂ’s Catholic church here in Plainview, Minnesota, USA. The double ring ceremony was conducted by the Rev. Alfred L. Frisch of Claremont, Minnesota, USA, assisted by the Rev. Edward Waldemar Frisch, deacon at St. Mary's college, Winona, Minnesota, USA, as deacon and the Rev, T. F. OÂ’Conner, pastor of the church, as sub-deacon. The church choir sang LeonardÂ’s mass in B flat. Bridesmaids were Miss Rosetta Siebenaler of Plainview, Minnesota, USA and Miss Natalie Wiley of St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. The bridegroom was attended by Francis Wiley of St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, and Leo Siebenaler of Plainview, Minnesota, USA, was an usher.
Bride Wears White Satin.
Richard Siebenaler, a nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. He was attired in a white linen suit and carried the rings on a white satin pillow. The flower girls were Anna Marie Siebenaler, a niece of the bride, and Deloras Fuller, a niece of the bridegroom. They had green satin bows in their hair, wore satin dresses and carried white calla lilies. The bride wore white satin with a square neckline adorned by two pearl clips. She had a long veil and a lace cap with a coronet of pearls fastened at the sides with mock orange bosoms. Her flowers were Johanna Hill roses fastened with white tulle. Miss Rosetta Siebenaler wore aqua marine mousseline de sole of ankle length and with puffed sleeves. Miss Natalie Wiley wore shell pink mousseline de sole. The bridesmaids had matching turbans with Moussline veils and their flowers were dark pink roses and blue delphiniums tied with bows to match their accessories.
Three Course Dinner Served.
Following the ceremony a three course dinner was served at the home of the brideÂ’s parents. The house was decorated and in the dining room were pink, blue and white crepe streamers. The meal was prepared by Mrs. Milton Leininger and Mrs. Peter Petit and cousins of the bride assisting In serving. They were Mrs. Edward Rivers, Jr., Mrs. Arnold Diederick, Miss Annette Kramer, Miss Delphine Rivers and the Misses Adetrude and Ursula Kronebusch. Following a reception at the Plainview City Hall, the bride and bridegroom left on a trip to northern Minnesota, USA. On their return they will be at home on the bridegroomÂ’s farm at Zumbro Falls, Minnesota, USA. The bride is a graduate of Holy Trinity High School at Rollingstone, Minnesota, USA, and attended the Winona Teachers College, Winona, Minnesota, USA. She taught rural schools for several years and during the last two years taught the lower grades at Hammond, Minnesota, USA.
Carries MotherÂ’s Prayer book.
During the wedding ceremony the bride carried a white prayer book that her mother carried at her marriage. Frisch of Minneiska, Minnesota, USA; Matthew Rivers and daughter Delphine of Rollingstone, Minnesota, USA; Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Oscar Wiley and family who have lived the past few years on the Mrs. Frances DeWitt farm, have moved to the former Edward Hoizer farm, Oakwood, Minnesota, USA, which they purchased.
